1 Overview
Plain-English summary: We collect only what we need to run the Payric waitlist and, later, the service itself. We never sell your data. Ever.
Payric ("we", "our", or "us") is a financial management SaaS product operated by the Payric team. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or join our waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have about it.
By using our website or submitting the waitlist form, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2 What We Collect
We collect the minimum information necessary. Right now, that means information you provide when you join our waitlist:
- Full name — so we know who you are when we reach out.
- Business name — to understand the businesses we're building for.
- Business email address — our primary way of contacting you.
- WhatsApp number — for onboarding support and beta access notifications.
- CAC registration status — to understand your business stage.
- Business category and location — to prioritise features that matter most to your region and industry.
- Referral source — so we know how you heard about us.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically collect standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. We do not combine this with your personal data and we do not use it to build profiles.
3 How We Use It
We use your information solely to deliver and improve the Payric service:
- To send you your waitlist confirmation email.
- To notify you when early access or beta invitations are available.
- To contact you about product updates directly relevant to your business category.
- To understand which features and regions to prioritise in development.
- To respond to any questions or support requests you send us.
We will never use your information for unrelated marketing, profiling, or advertising. You can opt out of our emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message we send.
4 Data Storage & Security
Your data lives in Supabase. All waitlist submissions are stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database with row-level security enabled. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS 1.2+.
Supabase is a trusted, open-source database platform that meets industry-standard security practices. You can read about Supabase's own security measures at supabase.com/security.
We restrict access to your personal data to Payric team members who need it to operate the service. We do not store payment card data — Payric is currently pre-launch and does not process payments.
5 Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Full stop.
The only third parties that may process your data as part of delivering our service are:
- Supabase Inc. — database and backend infrastructure (data processor).
- Email service provider — used solely to send you the confirmation email you requested. They do not have access to your full profile.
We may be required to disclose your data if compelled by a valid legal process (e.g., a court order). In that case we will notify you where legally permitted to do so.
6 Your Rights
You have the following rights over your personal data, regardless of where you are located:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your record from our waitlist at any time.
- Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to us processing your data for any purpose.

7 Data Retention
We retain your waitlist information for as long as it is needed to invite you to the service and support your onboarding. If Payric does not launch, or if you request deletion, we will permanently remove your record within 30 days of the request.
Once the product launches and you become an active user, a separate and more detailed data retention policy will apply to your account data.
8 Children's Privacy
Payric is a business tool intended for adults operating registered or unregistered businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
9 Policy Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
