1 Acceptance of Terms
Plain-English summary: By using Payric — even just signing up for the waitlist — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Payric ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing our website at payric.com, submitting the waitlist form, or using any Payric product or service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using Payric on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

Core principle: Payric can only be as accurate as the data you put into it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial information you log.
Payric is a tool that organises and presents financial data. The accuracy of all information displayed — including balances, summaries, reports, and projections — depends entirely on the completeness and correctness of the data you enter or import.
You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring that all transactions you manually record are accurate and complete.
- Verifying that any bank-imported transactions are correctly categorised.
- Reviewing all reports and summaries before using them for any business, tax, or financial decision.
- Maintaining independent records of your business finances in compliance with applicable laws.
We are not liable for any business, financial, or tax consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrectly categorised data within Payric.
7 Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, branding, and features of the Payric platform are owned by Payric and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Payric without our express written permission.
Your business data — the transactions, records, and reports you create in Payric — remains yours. We do not claim ownership over your data.
8 Disclaimers
Payric is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work hard to keep the service reliable and accurate, we make no warranties, express or implied, about:
- The uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.
- The accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any information displayed.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Payric shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be referred to the appropriate courts in Nigeria.
